Identifikasi Drug Related Problems (DRPs) Pada Pasien Demam Tifoid Rawat Inap Di Rumah Sakit Umum Anutapura Palu Periode 2014-2015
Abstract
Drug Related Problems (DRPs) are the conditions related to drug therapy that actually or potentially interfere the desired clinical outcomes. DRPs may occur in the treatment of various diseases such as typhoid fever. This study aims to determine the percentage of DRPs in typhoid fever inpatients at Anutapura General Hospitals period of 2014-2015. This study is an observational study with retrospective data collection of the patients’ medical records. The data obtained were then descriptively analyzed based on the relevant literatures. The results from 87 patients show that the occurences of DRPs are as follows: inappropriate drug is 6 event (8%), drug with no indication 0 event (0%), drug interaction 31 events (41,33%), drug dose too low 34 events (45,33%), and drug dose too high 4 events (5,34%).
